What You Need To Know About Toyota Entune

Do you own a smartphone such as an iPhone, BlackBerry or Android phone? If so, you have probably downloaded a few apps on the phone.

If you are unfamiliar with apps, apps are small software applications that are similar to computer programs. These can include games, music players as well as enhanced social media websites.

Toyota is bringing that app technology to its cars and trucks with the Entune system. The Entune system is a multimedia system that will include mobile apps, music and voice recognition software.

It was recently announced at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Because Entune will have voice recognition software, you will not need to press any buttons to access any apps. This is great for safety purposes.

The Main Issues Relating to Extended Car Warranties

An extended car warranty could be defined as a type of insurance policy. Where as an initial car warranty will be provided by the manufacturer, an extended car warranty can be offered through a separate insurer. If you find yourself having problems with your car due to mechanical or electrical failure this form of warranty can cover, or help contribute, to the costs of any repairs or parts replacement. An extended car warranty offers peace of mind for the consumer by simply extending the length of time he can expect sufficient coverage offered after the manufacturer's warranty. There are some issues to consider before looking for the right type of extended car warranties.

Many companies will offer a certain service package but this may not include complete "bumper to bumper" coverage. Some plans offered will only provide coverage under severe mechanical or electrical motoring failures. The customer needs to examine the details when taking out one of these policies. Then the best deal can found.

London 2012 Olympic and Paraolympic Games

The focus of the London 2012 Olympic and Paraolympic Games will be on both athletes that do and do not have physical disabilities. Competition for those with disabilities originally started as a way to allow retired servicemen and women to be able to compete. It would not be until 1960 that these games would become an official part of the Olympics and be open to everyone.

Growth happened quickly, and by the 1976 Summer Games, there were 1,600 disabled persons from 40 countries competing. By the time the 2008 Beijing Olympics rolled around 3,900 individuals from 146 countries were participating. With growth came sponsorships, and these athletes benefit from Olympic sponsors in the same way all other athletes do. Sponsors have always been an important part of the process, and they continue to help shape and form the Olympics.

When the London 2012 Olympic and Paraolympic Games kicks off this summer, millions will be watching to see the stories unfold and the medals be won. The history of the Olympics is a rich one, and though history is important, it is what happens this summer that will be the highlight in our minds. Soon these Olympics will also become a part of history. Therefore Olympic fans should be ready to take in as much as possible while these exciting London games are taking place.
